Engagement score
One number that tells you who to call
Every investor gets a score from 0 to 100 after each session. It is not a vanity metric. It is a weighted signal across five measurable behaviours.
Did the investor actually read the Financials and Legal sections, or skip them? Depth is measured per document, per page.
How recently was the last session? A read yesterday counts more than one three weeks ago.
Returning investors signal conviction. Each confirmed return visit lifts the score.
Off-hours reads (detected from the investor’s browser timezone) and long dwell times on key pages indicate real engagement, not a cursory scan.
Total pages read across all sessions. Breadth signals that the investor is doing proper diligence.

Email-OTP anti-forwarding
A 6-digit one-time code is sent to the originally-invited email. Forwarding the link is useless without access to that inbox.
Immutable audit trail
Every access event is written to an append-only database table. UPDATE and DELETE are revoked at the Postgres level. No one can erase the record.
Transaction-scoped Row Level Security
Each database query runs inside a Postgres RLS context scoped to the authenticated tenant. One company cannot read another’s data even if a query is mis-constructed.

What is the 0–100 engagement score and how is it calculated?
The score is a weighted composite of five signals measured per investor: key-doc depth (30 pts), recency (20 pts), return cadence (20 pts), reading quality including off-hours reads (15 pts), and total volume (15 pts). Each component is normalised and then combined. The score recomputes after every new session.
Can investors forward my data room link to a colleague?
Not successfully. Every invitation link is tied to a specific email address. When someone opens the link they must verify that email with a 6-digit OTP. Forwarding the URL to a different email will trigger a new OTP challenge to the original address, so the forwarded recipient is blocked.
How quickly can I get a data room ready for investors?
