Pitch Deck Engagement
The measurable reading behavior an investor exhibits when viewing a pitch deck.
Pitch deck engagement refers to the set of behavioral signals captured when an investor views a pitch deck through a tracked link: pages viewed, dwell time per page, completion rate, number of sessions, return visits, off-hours activity, and download events. Raw engagement metrics (views, minutes) are poor predictors of outcome on their own — the pattern matters more than any single number. A 2-minute first view that returns for 15 minutes the following evening is higher intent than a 20-minute single session with no return.
Example
After sending a deck to 30 investors, a founder's pitch deck engagement data showed that 6 had returned for a second visit — those 6 all responded to follow-up within 48 hours.
