Warm Investor
An investor who has shown measurable engagement with a data room without yet committing.
A warm investor is an investor whose engagement score places them in the 40–74 range — high enough to indicate genuine interest but below the Hot threshold (75+) that signals active diligence. Warm investors have typically viewed a data room at least twice or spent meaningful time on the Financials section. The right follow-up cadence for a warm investor is a value-add nudge (a traction update, a new reference, a relevant market event) rather than a direct 'are you in?' ask. In PrimeVDR, the follow-up list ranks investors as Hot, Returning, and Quiet — Warm corresponds to the Returning tier.
Example
Three investors showed a score between 45 and 65 — labeled Returning in the follow-up list. The founder sent each a 2-line update with a new ARR number. All three responded within 24 hours.
